Hosting Lizard Hosting Servers upgraded. We have completed our system wide upgrade of our Hosting Lizard Shared Hosting and Reseller Hosting Servers. Each server has been upgraded at a cost of $1600 + a piece in order to increase processing power, space, and performance for our customers. Upgrades have been performed on a per server basis over the last couple weeks with each upgrade requiring no more than 10 minutes each to perform.
As always, we like to keep one step ahead of the game. Keeping our customers happy starts with keeping our servers and service at the highest levels possible.

After months of planning an additional wing was added to our server room enabling room for more hosting servers increasing our shared and reseller capacity by more than 200,000 web sites. Hosting Lizard to add OptiMan Fiber Services from AT&T offering in excess of Gigibit speeds. A new larger router was purchased last month in anticipation of the additional fiber feed. With the installation of additional capacity comes additional bandwidth, as well as more redundancy. We hope to finalize installation and bring the new circuit live by end of 3rd quarter 2007.

Hosting Lizard upgrades servers to boost performance and increase capacity. Customers on affected servers will be notified prior to any upgrade. Upgrades should take around 5 minutes at the most on average. Most customers have not even noticed downtime as a result.
